Substitute Teaching Letter
|
In an effort to keep communication open, I provide teachers with a letter explaining how I mark the plans they left for me. I also explain my behavior system, and provide contact information in case they have a need for it.
I find that most teachers appreciate the effort I have put into this letter and into the resources I provide. I have even experimented with attaching a QR code that brings up the survey page I have created. I have yet to get feedback on this, but I am excited to put it into practice. So far, only one teacher has provided me with feedback, but I relish the opportunity to improve. Just in case the teacher would like to use my services again, I include in my website information from my Google Calendar and a scheduling app that allows them to block off a scheduled day. This is helpful for the private school teachers, as the app provides e-mail reminders for both the teacher and me and blocks off time in my work schedule. |
